Why is page scan not working?
Page-text lookup needs the extension on, a scan hotkey other than Off, at least one learning language set on the website, and at least one dictionary installed for that language. Check each in order.
Steps
Extension on
- Open the popup. If the toggle is off, turn it on.
Scan hotkey
- In the popup Dictionary tab, confirm Scan page text is not Off.
Learning languages
- Sign in on the YuzuLingo website.
- Open Settings → Dictionary and check at least one learning language.
- Reload the extension or restart the browser so it syncs.
Dictionaries
- Confirm at least one glossary is installed for that language.
- Wait if you still see Installing starter dictionaries…
