Why is IPA missing or odd?
Check English or Spanish, turn on IPA, and confirm the recognized words are Latin-script. Odd IPA often follows OCR typos, names, or Spanish dialect approximation limits.
Steps
Check language and toggle
- Check English or Spanish and open the subtitle panel Settings → Readings. Pick IPA in that language's dropdown.
- Fix OCR with Retry or a double-click edit if the base word is wrong.
