Zhuyin vs pinyin — which should I use?
Use pinyin if you learn with Latin syllables and tones. Use Zhuyin if you prefer Bopomofo. Both annotate the same Chinese Interact line; switch under Reading system.
Steps
Choose in Reading system
- Pinyin (tone marks) or Pinyin (tone numbers) for Latin romanization.
- Zhuyin for Bopomofo. Jyutping if you want Cantonese readings instead.
