Why did translation count against my quota when I already translated that line?
Cache only matches the exact OCR string plus languages and engine for your account. A one-character OCR change, a different Translate to, or a different engine spends seconds again.

Why it counted again
- OCR text differed (even slightly) from the cached string.
- You changed Translate to, OCR language, or preferred engine.
- You are on another account — cache is per account, not shared.
