Where is Hold to show text?
Hold to show text is per zone. Set Show text to Hold hotkey, then set the shortcut in the zone toolbar → General, or in the popup Zones tab when that zone is expanded. Each zone can use a different shortcut.

Steps
On the video
- Open the subtitle panel Settings → Appearance.
- Set Show text to Hold hotkey.
- Under Hold to show text, press Set and record a shortcut.
From the popup
- Open the Zones tab and expand the zone.
- Set Show text to Hold hotkey, then set Hold to show text for that zone.
