When does YuzuLingo retry a clearer read?
If the first on-device pass misses the line, YuzuLingo may automatically try a clearer read for that same zone crop while the subtitle is still on screen. Pressing Retry on the zone toolbar also runs recognition again, preferring the clearer path when possible.
Prerequisites
Interact or Translate on a zone.
Steps
Automatic
- When on-device recognition returns empty, we may run one clearer-read attempt for that zone moment.
- If it succeeds, the text on the video and in the transcript can update while that cue is still showing.
Manual Retry
- On the zone toolbar, press Retry (Run OCR again on this zone).
- Needs network for the clearer path; if that fails, on-device recognition runs again.
