What do Already in Anki and Not in Anki mean?
When you configure known-words decks in Settings → Export, the dictionary popup can show Already in Anki or Not in Anki for the looked-up word. If known-words is not set up, neither badge appears.
Prerequisites
AnkiConnect ready. You chose at least one deck and expression field under known words in Settings → Export.
Steps
Configure known words
- Open Settings → Export.
- Under known words, pick which decks to scan and which field holds the expression.
- Sync runs when you open Export settings or the extension popup.
Read the popup
- Hover a word with Interact on.
- Already in Anki means that expression is in the scanned decks. Not in Anki means it was not found.
