What dictionary zip format does YuzuLingo accept?
YuzuLingo accepts a Yomitan-style zip with index.json and format 3. Glossaries use term_bank files. Pitch, frequency, and pronunciation use term_meta_bank files. Compression must be stored or deflate.
Steps
Use a format-3 zip
- The archive must include index.json with format set to 3.
- Prefer zips built for Yomitan from a source you are allowed to use.
Prefer the catalog when you can
- Hosted rows already meet the format rules and include Kind, Learning, and Meanings labels.
- Custom imports skip that stamped pair unless you later replace them from the catalog.
