How to use Translate
Add a zone over the burned-in line, set the zone Mode to Translate, pick the OCR language and Translate to, then sign in with the extension linked. The subtitle panel shows the translation; Lines can keep the hardsub visible too.
Prerequisites
The extension is installed on a supported video page. You have a free YuzuLingo account (or will create one) and the extension is linked by opening yuzulingo.com once while signed in.
Steps
Cover the line
- Open the popup Zones tab and press Add zone, or use the on-video controls.
- Drag and resize the box so it covers the burned-in subtitles.
Switch the zone to Translate
- On the zone, open Mode and choose Translate (not Cover or Interact).
- Pick the OCR language for the hardsub script, then Translate to for the language you want to read. Both start blank — nothing runs until you pick them.
Sign in if asked
- Unsigned Translate shows Sign in to translate in the panel. Sign in, keep the extension linked, then return to the video.
- Check remaining Daily Translation Time under Settings → Translation (site) or the popup Translation tab.
Read the panel
- Open the subtitle panel under the video. Translation appears there.
- In Panel settings → Lines, Show hardsub in Translate mode is on by default so you can see both. Separate lines and Line order control how hardsub and translation stack.
