How do I use my own DeepL API key?
Sign in, open Settings → Translation, paste your DeepL API key, save, then set the translation engine to DeepL. The key is encrypted; after save you only see that it is saved.
Prerequisites
A DeepL API key from DeepL. Signed-in YuzuLingo account. Extension linked for Translate on video.
Steps
Save the key
- Open Settings → Translation on the website.
- Paste into DeepL API key and save. Read the privacy disclaimer on that page.
- Choose DeepL as the translation engine.
If Translate fails
- The panel may offer Use default (Microsoft) or Edit API key.
- Check DeepL credits and that the key is valid.
