How do I map Anki fields?
In Settings → Export, map each card role (Word, Reading, Sentence, Definition, Audio, Image) to a field name on your chosen note type. Common names such as Expression and Meaning are auto-mapped when they match.
Prerequisites
AnkiConnect ready, and a deck and note type selected in Settings → Export.
Steps
Open the field map
- Open Settings → Export.
- Select your Anki destination, deck, and note type.
Assign roles
- For each role, choose the Anki field name that should receive that content.
- Save. The next Export card uses this map.
