Do readings work without Interact?
No. Readings sit on the recognized Interact text. A blur or solid cover alone does not show furigana, pinyin, romanization, or IPA.
Steps
Enable Interact
- Select the zone and turn on Interact.
- Check the subtitle language, turn readings on in the subtitle panel Settings → Readings, then wait for text on the line.
