Do readings export to Anki?
Overlay ruby is not exported as HTML into Anki. Export fills the Reading field from the dictionary compose flow (popup reading you can edit), plus sentence, definition, and media when configured.
Steps
Export from the popup
- Hover a word, open Export when AnkiConnect is ready, and edit the Reading field if needed.
- Map the Reading role in Settings → Export to your note type field.
