YuzuLingo vs No CC
YuzuLingo covers burned-in subtitles on the video you are already watching, including YouTube, Bilibili, and other web players. Turn on Interact to read the burned-in line on your device, with furigana or pinyin when the language has them. Show that text always, on hover, or while you hold a hotkey. It runs in Firefox as well as Chrome.
No CC is a Chrome extension from si4k.online. On YouTube it turns the caption track off and keeps it off, on videos, Shorts, and hover previews. A popup toggle remembers that choice, and the CC button label becomes NO-CC. It does not cover words burned into the picture, and it does not run on other sites.
