YuzuLingo vs Mask & Blur Pro
YuzuLingo covers burned-in subtitles on YouTube, Bilibili, and other open web players. You can draw more than one zone, and those zones come back on that site. Turn on Interact to read the burned-in line, with furigana or pinyin when the language has them, and a transcript of the lines in that session. Show that text always, on hover, or while you hold a hotkey. It runs in Firefox as well as Chrome.
Mask & Blur Pro is a Chrome extension by Hasin Hayder. You select text and replace it with a character, or click an element to blur it, for screenshots and screen sharing. It is in the Chrome Web Store. It does not draw a zone on a video. Reviewers say a mask does not stay after a reload, that there is no way to remove a blur, and that settings are not saved per website.
