YuzuLingo vs Subtitle OCR Console (kirksaunders)
YuzuLingo stays in the browser. You cover burned-in subtitles on the video you are already watching, including YouTube, Bilibili, and other web players. There is no project to build. Turn on Interact to read the burned-in line on your device, with furigana or pinyin when the language has them. Show that text always, on hover, or while you hold a hotkey.
Subtitle OCR Console is kirksaundersās command-line tool in the repo subtitle-ocr-console. You build it with .NET 6 and Rust. It turns a PGS subtitle file into an SRT with the included English model, and it can pull the pictures out of that file. CUDA is optional. The README has not chosen a license and limits use to clone, build, and run. The last commit was about eleven months ago, and there is no release. It does not cover a web video while it plays.
