YuzuLingo vs Subcleaner (KBlixt)
YuzuLingo stays in the browser. You cover burned-in subtitles on the video you are already watching, including YouTube, Bilibili, and other web players. There is no Python script to set up and no subtitle file to edit. Turn on Interact to read the burned-in line on your device, with furigana or pinyin when the language has them. Show that text always, on hover, or while you hold a hotkey.
Subcleaner is KBlixt’s Python script in the repo subcleaner. It finds ad blocks in an SRT with a language profile, deletes them, and re-indexes the file. It can walk a library, and Bazarr can run it after a download. Profiles included for English, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, Indonesian, and Swedish. Other languages need a profile you write. There is no release. It does not cover a line on a video, and it does not read one.
