YuzuLingo vs Subtitle Hider (KamiGim)
YuzuLingo covers burned-in subtitles on YouTube, Bilibili, and other open web players. You can draw more than one zone, and each zone can blur or sit as a solid cover. Language learners can turn on Interact and look words up on hover, instead of only blurring the line. Show that text on hover, with a hotkey, or leave it on. It runs in Firefox as well as Chrome.
Subtitle Hider is KamiGimās Chrome and Firefox extension on GitHub. It puts one blur overlay on the page, and you drag it over the subtitles. You load it from a folder in developer mode. It does not look words up, and it does not add a solid cover.
